It looks very much like a storage-attic now. So we'd like to give it a bit of a makeover! We're not allowed to paint the wooden beams, but the walls and floor definitely need something new. I looked up some ideas on the web, but haven't found a very satisfying example yet... Maybe the design-loving blog-readers have some good ideas for us?
This is a hotel-bedroom, so it's a bit clean and empty. I like the bed right below the window, but the other one...? You'd bump your head everytime you get up!
This has a cozy atmosphere, but it's more of a child's room, I think.
Don't like the colours, the camping-chair, the carpet and oh, what about the ugly batik dyed sheet?!
Hmmmm this is warm! I would love to take a bath in there... The combination of white & wood is lovely. And the lights are nice too!
This it quite romantic! But that's not really what we like :) Not sure about the white 'curtain' either...
This is what I like best, I think! Or maybe it's the frames on the wall that charm me, together with the little light 'in' the wall!
Our attic isn't very light, so we're thinking of using those little spotlights and highlight the wooden beams. And on the floor a dark-grey carpet that covers the whole floor. I couldn't find any examples of an attic with a dark floor, so I'm quite curious what it would look like... We have about two weeks to think about it :) Any fresh ideas?
